Esteemed parents, staff, faculty, students, and distinguished guests, I am honored to welcome you to Kigali Christian School (KCS) Kigali Campus, a beacon of academic and spiritual excellence. Since our humble beginnings in 2006, KCS Kigali has grown to serve around 835 students, including 235 in the Nursery section and 600 in the Primary section. Our school, located in the heart of Kigali’s Gasabo District, is dedicated to transforming young lives by equipping students with the knowledge and spiritual grounding necessary to serve their communities as Christ-like leaders.
Our vision is to see young people transformed into the likeness of Christ, equipped to serve God and the community. This vision is embodied in our mission to provide an excellent Christian learning environment that fosters spiritual growth and nurtures each student’s unique potential. We offer a bilingual curriculum, with French as the medium of instruction in the Nursery section and Primary One and Two, while English is taught as a subject. From Primary Three through Primary Six, English becomes the medium of instruction, with French continuing as a subject, ensuring our students excel in both languages and are well-prepared for a globalized world.
At KCS Kigali, we also emphasize the holistic development of our students. Our curriculum is designed to nurture not only academic excellence but also talents in various fields, including traditional dance, sports, public speaking, art, and drama. Our dedicated full-time trainers work tirelessly to cultivate these talents, ensuring that each child can reach their fullest potential. Our students have proudly represented the school in various competitions, earning accolades in the Kigali Private Schools League and the Kagame Cup, and we strive to maintain this momentum of excellence.
KCS Kigali Campus is equipped with excellent facilities, including spacious classrooms, playgrounds, a school garden, a library, and a music room. We prioritize the well-being of our students, providing counseling services, health resources, and a robust support system. We celebrate diversity and promote a culture of inclusivity and respect.
