RESIDENTIAL LIFE MINISTRY AT K.C.S
At Kigali Christian School, our Residential Life Ministry, akin to a boarding program, provides a nurturing environment designed to support the academic, spiritual, and personal growth of our students. With a capacity to accommodate 200 students, our facilities are equipped to create a conducive learning atmosphere.
We have a dedicated team of seven staff members residing on campus to ensure the well-being of our students. Among them is a school nurse who addresses health concerns and ensures effective clinic services. Should a student’s condition require medical attention beyond the nurse’s capacity, we facilitate transportation to the nearest polyclinic or hospital and cover the medical expenses using the student’s pocket money.
Our program emphasizes academic excellence by offering quality supervision and support to help students prepare for their lessons effectively. Each day begins and ends with devotionals, fostering a strong spiritual foundation. Additionally, we hold Sunday services, monthly Bible study sessions, weekly discipleship classes for born-again Christians, and weekly chapel times.
Students in our Residential Life Ministry have ample opportunities to discover and develop their God-given talents. We provide time and facilities for various sports, including basketball, football, and volleyball. For those with musical talents, we have a worship team and a music band, enabling students to serve God through singing and playing instruments.
All these elements align with our vision at Kigali Christian School: “To see every young person transformed into the likeness of Christ and equipped to serve God in the community.” Our students are encouraged to love and serve one another, following the true love modeled in the Bible. This spirit of service extends beyond the campus, as students support peers dealing with personal hardships, with the school backing these social initiatives.

Our staff, committed to their spiritual, emotional, and professional growth, work tirelessly to guide students in becoming the next generation of nation-builders.
