Commemoration of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi

 The 28th April 2023 Kigali Christian School joined the rest of Rwanda in remembering the genocide against the Tutsi. This is an annual event held by the entire Youth For Christ Rwanda family.

This year’s commemoration began with a ‘Walk to Remember” members of the YFC Rwanda leadership, staff and Kigali Christian School students. The participants walked from the YFC Rwanda main compound to the Memorial Site at Kibagabaga where a wreath was laid on the grave of the victims of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi.

From the memorial site those present gathered at the YFC Main office grounds where our students had the opportunity to listen to a testimony and presentation about the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi.

Kigali Christian School is committed to making a significant contribution in raising a generation that will positively impact the nation.
